I rang at 8 this morning 01.01.20 was told doctor would ring me. As I had not received a call by 1pm I rang surgery to find out what was happening. I was told I would be called. Whilst waiting for that call to be answered someone from the clinic had rung and left a message on my voicemail. I then tried calling surgery but after 10mins of waiting on the line I gave up. I recalled that I had been told previously that the would attempt to call me 3 times. It’s now 14.10hrs and I haven’t received another call. Guessing I’m not getting an appointment today. So what do I do now? Start all over again tomorrow?

I've been trying to get an appointment for my 2 year old waited on the phone for half an hour to be rudely told no appointments before listening what I was saying. The triage nurse is always rude this isn't the first time she's done this. I phoned all nicely and politely trying to explain my child's problem to her and ended up being cut through rudely by saying no appointments. She can at least show some sympathy make an alternative suggestion or show some courtesy and listen to what I'm saying. Last time this was happened my child has ended up in hospital with an severe infection in body, she then refused to listen and rudely put the phone down. I understand they are stressed and under staffed but treat people like you want to be treated. I'm fuming now and this will reflect on other people. Be a human being for God's sake and if you can't handle stress do another job.

I find it very rare that i can not see a doctor on the same day that i call.It might not be the doctor you want but you are being seen and with the pressures GPs are under at the moment i am thankful that i have this surgery that can do this. We have a new system at Eagle house where you phone and the Dr will call you back and if you need to be seen a appointment for that day is given to you by the Dr.Some times you may not need a Dr and you can be seen by a nurse practitioner.

Have been a patient for 2 1/2 years and since December last year have been unable to get an appointment. I suffer with mental health and physical health and now I need to get an appointment regarding dementia. Was offered age related health check that does not include dementia is worth nothing. I will continue to suffer because of this lack of appointments. Personally I would like my medical records as first of they are mine and secondly because if I cannot get an appointment you dont need my records

I always manage to get a same day appointment and (with the exception of one doctor who is really rude) the rest are all really helpful
